I think its a good deal. You'll want to use the DD coil when prospecting.

The other is better for parks and schools.

It depends entirely on:

1. What you want to use if for, and
2. Where you intend to use it.

Just make sure that you choose a model that it's electronically designed to do precisely what you want it to do.

And get the best one you can afford.
